Five members of the Pinetree Track and Trail Club participated in the Magnolia Springs 4.8 mile USA Track and Field cross country championship race Saturday, Nov. 14 near Millen. Four of the five won or placed in their age categories. Beth Lane and Tammy Sutton finished first in their age category and Mark Haddock and Stephanie Fagler finished 3rd in their respective age categories.  

A mother is speaking out after her son is beaten up in a Terry High School classroom. "His lip was hanging. He had three stitches in his lip. He was kicked in the groin. He went unconscious in the classroom," said Cynthia Rollins. She is the mother of 14-year-old T.J. Sutton.
